1. Club officers or designees have the right to inspect live wells and/or boat compartments immediately prior to the start
of a tournament.
2. During a club tournament all members must obey all state laws and lake rules. Breaking these rules shall be grounds
for disqualification. If disqualified, neither entry fee nor big bass fee will be returned. No fishing is permitted within
50 yards of a gas pump.
3. Consumption of alcoholic beverages and/or use of illegal drugs during tournaments are prohibited. Participating in a
club tournament under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs will be grounds for disqualification and dismissal from the
club.
4. The club officers have the right to cancel any tournament due to bad weather or high water. Entry fees for any canceled
tournament will be refunded.
5. No more than two people are permitted in each boat. At least one person must be 18 years of age or older. When an adult
chooses a minor for a partner, the adult assumes full responsibility for that minor.
6. If you choose to fish without a partner, you must pay the full entry fee. If you choose to fish by yourself, the five
fish limit is also in affect.
7 Safe boating must be observed at all times. Each person is required to wear a coast guard approved personal flotation
device and the driver must have a kill switch attached when the boat is under power by the combustion engine.
8. All competitors are expected to be courteous to all competitors and non-competitors alike.
9. No pre-fishing on the tournament waters is permitted the day of the tournament. The entire Markland Pool is the tournament
water when Tanners Creek or Goose Creek is the tournament site.
10. For Tanners Creek tournaments, Tanners Creek from the first bridge going upstream to the first cooling pond and the
"tube" in Hogan’s Creek and the Gravel Pit @Great Miami & the first marina@Laughrey Creek are off limits.
11. No fishing is permitted after your partner leaves the boat to check in.
12. No live bait or trolling is allowed.
13. For each short fish presented to the weigh master, there will be a one (1) pound penalty deducted from the overall
weight total. The short fish will not count toward weight totals.
